Accounting practices, conveyancers, law firms, real estate agencies, property developers, dealers in precious metals and stones, and trust and company service providers are now reporting entities under Australia’s anti-money-laundering rules. We set the whole thing up for you: enrolment, your AML/CTF program, ongoing reporting and record-keeping, inside the systems you already use.
These rules have applied to banks for years. Since 1 July 2026 they apply to your profession too. You need to be enrolled with AUSTRAC, have a written AML/CTF program in place, check your clients’ identities, screen for sanctions and politically exposed persons, watch for and report suspicious activity, and keep records for seven years.
For most firms this was all new, and it had to be stood up alongside the day job. Plenty of practices are still not fully across it. That is not a character failing. It is a small business absorbing a bank’s compliance regime in a matter of months. The gap is very manageable with the right setup, and closing it now is much easier than explaining it later.
Everything the rules require, running inside the Microsoft tools your office already uses.
Each piece matches an obligation the rules give you.
If you haven’t enrolled, or you’re not certain your enrolment went through correctly, we sort it out and register your business properly. Late is better than never, and we handle the paperwork.
We write your program (Parts A and B): the risk assessment and policies AUSTRAC expects, tailored to your firm, not a generic template.
We help you appoint your AML/CTF compliance officer and give them simple tools to manage the role day to day.
We set up client identity checks and screening against sanctions lists and politically exposed persons, so onboarding a new client takes minutes, not hours.
When something looks off, the system flags it and drafts the report for your compliance officer to approve before it’s lodged, within AUSTRAC’s timeframes.
Every check, decision and report is kept safely for the seven years AUSTRAC requires, and can be produced on request with one click.
We build all of this in Microsoft 365, with Copilot and the Power Platform: the everyday tools your office already runs on. There’s nothing to rip out and replace, and your data stays in your own systems.
We’ve already taken two solo practitioners, an accounting practice and a conveyancer, through Tranche 2 from start to finish: enrolled with AUSTRAC, AML/CTF program in place, and reporting and record-keeping running inside the Microsoft 365 tools they already use.
